200 HOUR YOGA TEACHER TRAINING,
LEVEL 1, THAILAND
Mala Dhara Yoga Retreat Center
Chiang Mai, Thailand
October 7th – Nov 1st 2024
This Yoga Alliance, RYS 200-Hour Yoga Teacher Training takes place in the stunning yoga retreat centre, organic farm, and eco resort of Mala Dhara, nestled between jungle, mountains, and rice fields, 45 minutes outside of Chiang Mai, Thailand.
Certification, training, food, accommodation, and teaching materials are all included in the price. For 4 weeks, we will live and breathe yoga together, developing ourselves physically and mentally and learning how to teach these transformative techniques to others.
Every morning, we will start the day with 3 hours of practice made up of Asana, Pranayama, and Meditation – and then move into lectures on various topics ranging from Philosophy to Anatomy to Sequencing and Structuring. In the afternoons, we will go deeper into the methodology of the techniques and practice how to teach and better understand them. This is a great opportunity to spend a month with three experienced Teacher Trainers.
At the end of the month, you will be a certified Yoga Alliance 200-hour teacher, but more importantly, you will have the necessary confidence, knowledge, and teaching skills to blossom into a world-class Yoga Teacher.

YOUR TEACHERS
Amy Devani
Amy brings a wealth of experience and knowledge, delivered in an accessible and loving manner, a true gem in our teaching team. She has coordinated and assisted in several teacher training programs, has managed the beginners program for a large and well-established yoga school, and completed over 1500 hours of certified training.
Her conscious inner-journey began in India in 2009. After living in India and Nepal for over a year, taking various retreats, studying Buddhism, Yoga, and different meditation techniques, she was hooked. As her study and esoteric explorations deepened, she followed her calling and became a yoga teacher. Since then, her studies and explorations have continued and evolved, becoming part of her everyday life both on and off the mat.
Amy believes in the power of self-work and self-awareness, exploring and discovering who we really are. A profound and rewarding practice that incorporates every aspect of our being and existence. She is inspired by Kashmiri Shaivism, Yogic philosophy, quantum physics, neuroscience, medicinal herbalism, the mind-body connection, and psycho-spiritual work.
She pays sincere gratitude and loving respect to all the teachers that have influenced and enriched her life.
Amy continues to teach Yoga in numerous countries around the world. She is delighted to offer the fruits of her knowledge and experience for the greater good and the development of human consciousness.

Chris Brooker
Chris is passionate about helping people in a holistic way, making yoga accessible and enjoyable for everyone.
Her journey began in 2013 when she started her degree in Kinesiology at Queen’s University in Canada. She specialized in an Athletic Therapy program that supported varsity athletes. She then completed her yoga teacher training in Chiang Mai, Thailand with James and the amazing team at Path of Yoga in March 2020.
Chris weaves her understanding of the physical body into her yoga teaching to craft thoughtful, well-balanced classes. Through gentle reminders, pose variations, and attention to detail, she creates a warm and welcoming space in which to practice. Students are encouraged to listen to their own bodies and explore what feels good in the present moment.
